Exceptional

Low season, so we were only two in a room. They have a bike to borrow, which is very useful. The staff is really nice and very helpful.

The location is a bit far from the center, but at least for me it wasn't a problem. You can still use the bikes or walk.

Friendly and helpful staff, kitchen, free water and bicycles. Fast wifi

It’s hard to find, not listed in English on Google maps. Kitchen is a bit out of date and needs to be a bit cleaner. Mattress was not to comfy, could feel the springs inside

Welcoming, clean and comfortable hostel close to the cosy city center of Taitung.

The hostel was clean and felt very welcoming. We had two nice and quiet nights. We could use the hostel bikes for free, which meant that we could get to the city center in only 7 minutes. Check-in and check-out went smoothly.

Great!

The free laundry was a welcome surprise! The beds are very comfy with soft linen. There are specious common areas and the free bikes are nice! There's free snacks and tea. Would definitely stay here again.

The upper bunks didn't have a curtain, so bring an eye mask against the light.

It was a great experience!

It’s located in a quiet area and it’s very close to the Taitung Art Museum. The Flowing Lake is only 10 minutes away by bike. The room and the public areas are clean. The staffs are friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them. The laundry and bikes are free to use and those had made my staying time better!

A convenient and homey experience.

The space was really creative. Games, pain, colour-in books, comfy seating, the bright colours of the hostel.

That you could slightly feel the springs in the mattress, but they weren’t too uncomfortable.

A cool and friendly hostel with free bikes and tea bags, right near the forest park!

A cool little place just out of town but near the forest park. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were perfect (free snacks and tea bags!). It is easy to access by bus from the train station and you can come and go with a key scanner. It is the quiet season but it was still easy ti meet interesting people in the common areas! I would certainly recommend it!

The staff were rarely ever there.

It was a great stay and I would stay again!

The property was clean and had great spaces to socialize and hang out! The kitchen was large and clean and the beds were comfortable! The hostel provided coffee, tea and snacks for the guests. Bicycles were also free to use, which was wonderful!

The location was a bit far from the city centre for shopping, etc. and the train station. Using the bicycles helped a lot though! And, if you prefer to be close to the park, it was beside the hostel!

10/10 stay at Navel Orange Hostel

Stayed at Navel Orange Hostel during the Challenge Taiwan competition and the location is perfect for athletes. The staff was super helpful from the moment i arrived and was very responsive. Free bicycles to move around town and a nice and cozy common areas were some of the highlights of my stay. I would proactively recommend the hostel to travellers visiting Taitung!

one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Taiwan!

the whole property was immaculately clean and comfortable. the spring bed was much better than the previous hostel i stayed the day before at Taitung. I even happily extended another night here. will come back here again next time I’m in taitung

Just a minute walk to bus stop, or can use the complimentary bike to cycle for around 8 mins to city center for food. Clean and offer lots of common area to rest. Just then the mattress is quite soft, one may like or dislike depend on personal preference,

Superb

The location is a bit far away from the down town. Scooter, bike or taxi are recommended to get there. But overall, I really enjoy my stay there. Plus, the hostel provides free bike for people who stay there. It’s lovely to go cycling in the forest park, which is nearby, in the morning.

Mmm if I have to pick up one thing I didn’t really like... probably the bed is too soft for me. But better than too hard lol. Anyway, I’ll def recommend this hostel to my friends and eager to go back.

The place is very clean. The staff is very polite and helpful! Went out of their way to help me find a taxi to Fugang harbor. Will definitely stay here next time I visit taitung!
